Itinerary
Hotel pick up.
Journey to Qena by air conditioned vehicle. Your tour will start at the Dendera Temple, dedicated to the Godess Hathor. Go through its beautiful colors, discover its unique purpose. See the famous image of Queen Cleopatra, the last Egyptian Pharaoh and wonder the astronomical representations on the temple's ceiling.
Drive south to the ancient capital of Egypt, Luxor or Thebes, to learn more about the mystery of mummification by visiting the Mummification Museum. Learn the process and see the result from the mummified beings. Live the mystery alive.
Sail down the Nile to the west Bank through a lovely motorboat ride, with the lovely fresh breeze of the Nile River. Lunch by the river is included.
In the afternoon, we will take you to discover the Tombs of the Nobles. These are the tombs of the noble workmen in ancient Egypt. These tombs feature scenes of the daily life and routine. They still preserve fascinating colours. You will visit up to three tombs.
End your day by passing by the Collossus of Memnon, the two mortuary statues of of king Amenhoteb III, part of his million of years temple on the west Bank of Thebes.
Return to Hurghada and drop off at the hotel.
